
The Cabinet has approved the second phase of the Vibrant Villages Programme (VVP) with an outlay of Rs 7,000 crore for the next five years. This phase will cover 1,954 villages near borders with Bangladesh, Myanmar, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bhutan, focusing on infrastructure and livelihood opportunities to ensure prosperous and secure borders.
